The Mukilteo Little League Capital Fund exists for the purchase of capital or fixed assets that improve the Mukilteo Little League Complex at Paine Field Community Park. The Capital Fund is completely separate from Mukilteo Little League's operational funds. Player registration fees are used only for the league's operations; the two accounts held by the league do not commingle.
Recently completed Capital Fund projects include:
- three electronic scoreboards
- dugouts and dugout covers
- improved outfield fencing
- tournament-ready scorers' booths
Current Project: The Mukilteo Little League Clubhouse
For 55 years, Mukilteo Little League has been a positive, fun environment for our kids and an important part of our community. Now the League is taking another significant step in its growth, and we ask you to partner with us to make our vision a reality.
The Mukilteo Little League Clubhouse will be a superb addition to our community. It will be a true multi-purpose facility, serving as the League's home office and a central location for recordkeeping, materials, and supplies. It will provide much-needed meeting space for teams, coaches and the League's Board. For the first time, the League's gear will be stored in a secure central location. An outdoor seating area will be a lively meeting place and likely social hub of the Complex. And a concessions area with a full kitchen will fill the air at the Sports Complex with the smells of burgers and roasted corn on the cob. These expanded kitchen facilities will furthermore position the League well to host future tournaments and other special events, allowing for an important new source of revenue for the League in years to come.
- Design/Construction Documents prepared by Jensen Fey Architecture & Planning
- Two-story structure set into existing sloped site; easy access to both levels
- 1,200 gross square feet of building area
- 600 square feet of conditioned equipment storage space on ground floor
- Fully equipped concession kitchen
- Dedicated flexible meeting room for league use and other events
- Outdoor patio space with furniture adjacent to concession stand
- Many building materials already pledged; click here for an updated materials list (to inquire about in-kind donation opportunities, please click here)
The Mukilteo Little League Clubhouse will build upon our tradition of success and provide a foundation for growth for our future. It is a wise investment in the long-term future of the League and a responsible use of the League's capital funds.
