INSTRUCTION FOR PARENTS
Posted Jan 23, 2018

Attention Parents!

You are invited to attend one of the league sponsored Coaching Clinics in February and March.

Our coaches are volunteers and parents just like you.  Managing twelve kids on a ball field and keeping them active, learning and having fun throughout a practice is a job requiring more than one or two adults.

Parents can be very helpful during a practice even if it’s simply catching throws during drills, helping the kids transition from drill to drill or shagging balls.  The more bodies we have on the field at each practice translates into a more active and fun environment for the kids and helps them to develop their skills quicker.

You are strongly urged to make time to attend one of the league’s coaching clinics.  Basic terminology, core drills and the structure of an effective practice are examples of clinic content.   The clinic shows you that helping kids develop baseball and softball skills does not require you to be an expert.

We hope this guide encourages you to be involved in your child's enjoyment and success with Mukilteo Little League!
