NYSCA Coach Rating and Feedback
Mukilteo Little League strives to ensure that well-qualified and effective volunteers, especially managers and coaches, are working with our young players. In 2012, Mukilteo Little League is again proud to partner with the National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA) to provide our volunteer managers and coaches with a training program that focuses on providing all the necessary tools for a positive, safe, and fun-filled season.
The National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA) is a membership organization and the most widely-used volunteer coach training program in the nation, having trained more than 2.5 million coaches since its inception in 1981. More than 3,000 community-based agencies and organizations have offered this opportunity. The NYSCA volunteer coach training program is designed to sensitize volunteer coaches to their responsibilities and hold them accountable to a strict Code of Conduct defined by the NYSCA Coaches' Code of Ethics Pledge.
Mukilteo Little League would like to encourage you to evaluate your child's coach so that we can better provide a fun, safe and positive sporting experience. Your evaluation serves as a great tool for coaches to attain useful and immediate feedback on how they are performing at anytime during the season. League administrators will have full access to evaluators' identities and results, while coaches will only be able to see anonymous overall results.

Click here to evaluate and give feedback to your child's coach. In order to rate a coach you must have a coach's NYSCA member ID number. You may obtain this number by simply asking
your child's coach or League Director.
The American
Sport Education Program has put together this guide to helping you do much more than "survive" youth sports. We agree with them that parents should enjoy their kids' participation in sports to the
fullest and have the tools they need to make it fun and valuable for their young athletes. We hope this guide encourages you to be involved in your child's enjoyment and success with Mukilteo
Little League!
