
Mukilteo Little League uses a portion of our funds to improve the Mukilteo Little League Complex at Paine Field Community Park.
Currently Planned Project - RCO Grant Application in Review* (as of Spring 2026)
- Installation of LED Field Lighting on Field 2 (Softball) to Extend Playable Hours
- Field 1 (Baseball) Lighting Retrofit Upgrade with Brighter LED Lighting to Match Field 2
- Turf Infield on Field 2 (Softball) For All-Weather Playability
- New Field 2 (Softball) Backstop
*RCO Grant Proposal is for $750k to cover the cost of these improvements. $337,500 Matching Funds are required for the RCO Grant, and are planned to be covered by the following:
- $85,300 MLL HUD Community Development Block Grant (tentative award)
- $150,000 Snohomish County Parks Department Budget
- $102,200 REET money & Donations!
RCO Grant Project Timeline Estimates:
- April 30, 2026: Proposal draft due (completed)
- June 18, 2026: Receive RCO comments on draft proposal
- July 15, 2026: Final proposal submittal due
- August 28, 2026: Project Evaluations released
- October 27, 2026: Board approves preliminary rankings
- May 1, 2027: Matching Funds Certification due
- July 1, 2027: Sign Grant Agreement
- February 2028: Field Upgrades Complete
